These are the CURRENT room rates for TODAY.  Rates vary based upon date, lake water level, and are subject to change.

CURRENT LAKE WATER LEVEL:  Good (visible from the motel)

• LAKE VIEW 1 Queen Bed with Mini-Kitchenette** : $90/night + tax*  ($95.40/night after tax)
• 1 Queen Bed without Mini-Kitchenette**:   $84/night + tax*  ($89.04/night after tax)
• 1 Queen Bed with Mini-Kitchenette** :   $87/night +tax*  ($92.22/night after tax)
• 1 Full Bed & 1 Twin Bed with Mini-Kitchenette** :  $91/night + tax*  ($96.46/night after tax)
• 2 Full Beds with Mini-Kitchenette (no extra kitchen sink in this mini-kitchenette)** :  $94/night + tax*  ($99.64/night after tax)
• Two-Room Suite:  $175/night + tax*  ($185.50/night after tax)  (Two-Room Suite: Room #1 has 1 full bed & 1 twin bed & it's own separate restroom/shower. Room #2 has 1 queen bed & it's own separate restroom/shower. The rooms share a mini-kitchenette**)

* The current Kern County Transient Occupancy Tax rate is 6%  (it's a government thing, we have no choice)

** A mini-Kitchenette is a room (it looks just like a small normal kitchen) with a table, chairs, microwave, mini-fridge, kitchen sink, counters and cabinets. There is NO STOVE WITH BURNERS due to fire regulations. Please note, the rooms with 2 full beds do not have a kitchen sink or counters.

***The only other charges that could be added to your total would be if you choose to include an add-on such as a folding bed ($15/night), if you'll be accompanied by a pet (one time fee of $15 per reservation, see below for details), if you fail to return your key card ($30) or if you violate the terms and conditions by damaging something, stealing items or smoke inside the room (all rooms are non-smoking and there's a hefty $250 fine so please don't do it!)  Visit here for details: Terms and Conditions

OPTIONS & ADD-ONS

• Twin-Size Folding Bed**:  $15.00/night

The twin-size folding bed is suitable only for ages 3 and over. Do not leave children unattended. The folding bed has a 285lbs maximum capacity.

• Pet Fee: $15.00 

DOGS ONLY.  2 DOG MAXIMUM. This is a flat fee per reservation. It is not charged per night or per dog. All sizes welcome. All animals must be supervised at all times. Cats, birds, rodents and other animal types are not allowed due to potential allergies of guests and staff. There is no fee for service dogs.

Note about the formerly offered MILITARY DISCOUNT:  First I must say the motel is VETERAN (husband) OWNED AND OPERATED.  My Father was in the Navy, my grandfather was in the Navy and my husband is a former MARINE and a VIETNAM VETERAN. The motel used to offer a military discount but we unfortunately had to discontinue offering it. We hated having to do it but we had no choice. Most people were booking their rooms through online companies such as Booking.com, Expedia, AirBnB etc which not only charge the motel a HUGE commission percentage for each reservation but also make it VERY complicated to adjust the rate later or offer the refund to provide the discount. This causes not only a big loss of money for the motel (and we run a charity also in addition to the motel so every dime counts!) but also a huge amount of work going to each service and making adjustments. We also were experiencing A LOT of stolen valor claims and don't have the time (there's only 2 of us!) to verify everyone's military status. If guests were booking with the motel DIRECTLY we would have been HAPPY to continue the discount! But people just won't so, it's with a heavy heart that we had to come to the decision to cease the military discount as of September 17, 2024. We will of course honor the discount on reservations made before that date. We're a military family so we really DO understand and hope to someday be able to offer it again. Thank you for your service.
